For the next week, Tiri’s Garden will feature a native holiday tree lot benefiting Concerts for Kids, as well as mitigation work in our public forests.

“When we created Tiri’s Garden in May 2009, we didn’t anticipate the year-round affect it could have on the residents of Downtown Denver,” stated Christie Isenberg, President of Concerts For Kids.  “Once again, with the generosity of Shames Makovsky Realty and Europa Landscaping, we are able to provide them (and others) with an easy-access solution for decorating their homes.”

Tiri’s Garden Tree Lot, located on 15th

& California (across from the Hyatt Regency Denver CCC), will stay in alignment with Europa’s greening efforts by offering an LED trade-in program*, using Veterans for Green Jobs as the source of labor and most importantly, selling trees that have come from forest health and wildfire reduction projects.

“Choosing native holiday trees and other Colorado forest products helps promote sound forest management by reducing the cost forest restoration and wildlife mitigation efforts,” said Tim Reader, a utilization and marketing forester with the Colorado State Forest Service (CSFS). Colorado Forest Products TM,, the consumer outreach program of CSFS, assists with branding and marketing such products. The hours of operation, through Dec. 20 are, Monday-Wednesday, noon to 6 p.m. Thursday-Sunday, noon to 8 p.m. Delivery and removal services available for an additional fee.
