Magenta Marker Red Feather Lakes permit area
Permits will be sold beginning Nov. 30, 2008. The area will be open for cutting Dec. 5 through 13.
The area will be open December 5th through 13th. The price is $10 per tree, with a limit of five trees per person. Cash only. If you plan to cut on the weekend, permits may be obtained at the cutting area on Saturday or Sunday. For weekday cutting, permits must be obtained in advance from the  offices in Fort Collins at 2150 Centre Avenue, Building E.; Boulder at 2140 Yarmouth Avenue; or Greeley at 660 "O” Street. Please note the rules & regulations issued with your permit and that there is no tree cutting allowed in the Fraser Experimental Forest. Permits may be purchased from Nov.  1 through January 5, 2010.

Permits are $10 per tree with a maximum of five trees per person. We accept mail-in requests with an enclosed check stating how many trees you would like and the license plate number of the vehicle you will be using to transport your Christmas tree. Please make checks payable to: USDA Forest Service and mail your request to: PO Box 10; Granby, CO 80446-0010.
